GBC, Inc. subcontracted to H.C. Price as its concrete specialists on the new Golden Valley Electrical Association North Pole Power Plant Expansion project.
This project started late in the construction season of 2004 and, once again, put to test the expertise of GBC to form, place, and finish concrete in sub zero temperatures. GBC performed flawlessly in temperatures as low as -25°F as it made repeated, large volume concrete pours for footings, spread footings, walls, and equipment bases.
